We are getting closer!!!!

Looking back at my last post on 3/30 makes us say WOW! I can't believe it has changed so much in the past couple of months. We now have floors, cabinets, tile, 1 completed bathroom, porch railing, and so much more!!! A few weeks ago we moved from camping in the garage to camping in the house! The bugs and heat were getting worse and I didn't want to deal with it another day! So, my sweet husband moved our mattress into the guest bedroom and we are now living in a bug free, cool place for the next 40 years or so! I will say that we still don't feel like it is "home" and probably won't until we have all of our stuff in the house with us. But, that isn't far away...

Last night we sat down and made a list of everything we had to do to get our CO (certificate of occupancy) and the list was SUPER short! Other than the counter tops for the kitchen, I think we can finish everything else over the Memorial Day weekend! This doesn't mean that we will be finished, it just means that it is safe enough to live there and the county will no longer be telling us what to do and when to do it! Woo Hoo! So close to getting Berkeley County out of our hair!

Take a look at whats been going on at the Hilton's Home in the last couple of months!
